The speaker of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine on ATO issues, Andrey Lysenko, announced this at a briefing in Kyiv.
“Today at 4.00 am, Russian occupation forces opened fire with mortars, artillery, tanks and Grad-P (Partizan) systems in the Krasnogorovka area. According to preliminary information, the ATO forces suffered losses of 4 killed and 2 wounded... Another of our soldiers died as a result of shelling of Novgorod, which is in the Donetsk direction,” Lysenko said.
He also clarified that a total of nine Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers were killed.
“It was a hellish night, we don’t remember anything like this since 2014-2015,” volunteers from the “Come Back Alive” organization reported the words of the Ukrainian military.
It is noteworthy that the ATO press center, as PolitNavigator reported, cited underestimated data today, informing in the morning that only four Ukrainian fighters were killed.
