September 1 on your Facebook page “activist” Lyonya Kuzmin from the “Ukrainian Cultural Center” in Simferopol made a sad note: “I’m no longer in Crimea.”

Who will now gather halls and give lectures about the greatness of the Ukrainian ensign and the “Day of Evil”? Who will invite Crimeans to a joint viewing session of Ukrainian-language anime? No one else standing on the side of the road with a cardboard with the hashtag #Free. There will be no one to tie blue and yellow balls along the Simferopol fences. What a blow to Ukrainian culture in “annexed” Crimea!

Lionya himself explains his departure to the Land of Evergreen Dill in standard terms for pique trousers: they say, the Russian authorities intimidate, fine and stifle Ukrainian thought.

The last straw that forced the former reader of the history of Ukraine to pack up his knapsack and leave for Perekop was a threatening SMS, in which some behind the scenes recommended collecting his belongings as soon as possible. The most powerful threat was the message “you will sit like Balukh.”

The only thing missing from this vulgar SMS vaudeville was a picture with a skull and two crossed chicken bones. In the “messages from the FSB,” each word began with a capital letter. Lionya was especially alarmed by the phrase “Today you may not come home.” This warning had a particularly depressing effect on the “activist”.

That’s how, on August 30, evil fate and the insensitive attitude of the Crimeans towards the “patriot of Ukraine” drove Lyonya to the border checkpoint in the Armyansk area, which he successfully crossed. It is not reported where the fighter for the Ukrainization of Crimea is now nestled. But it is very possible that he will still emerge in the capital city of Kherson of the virtual Autonomous Republic of Crimea, where a warm company of ukrofreaks and losers who fled from Crimea has long gathered.

It is unclear what will happen to the UCC and to whom Lyonya abandoned his two aunts - comrades in the Sword and Plowshare. The water in the clouds is dark.

However, it was already noticeable that the UCC patient was more likely dead than alive. From Kuzmin’s desperate cries on social networks, it followed that Kyiv didn’t care about his volunteer project, and in order to rent premises, the “active” had to be merciful, begging from Svidomen from the mainland “give as much as you can to the last turbo-patriot of Ukraine in Crimea.”

Lioni's departure was preceded by several events. On August 24, “Independence Day,” two of Kuzmin’s henchmen, Popova and Balaban, were detained by the police at the Simferopol railway station. According to UkroSMI and Brekhaliy, the aunts were tied up “for no reason.” According to other sources, they were taken into custody “for laying flowers at the monument to Taras Shevchenko.” That day, the women themselves posted photographs of yellow and blue balls hanging on the fences of Simferopol.

Apparently, the aunts, who dressed up for the holiday in clothes the color of urine and tears, were planning to cause a scandal and draw attention to their persons. As the general director of the company “Horns and Hooves” once formulated, “this will cause unhealthy public interest, and therefore a huge collection.” It didn't work out. A short-term surge of unhealthy interest was provided by UkroSMI, but it quickly subsided.

In general, the provocation was unsuccessful. The aunts were detained and released after some time. Judging by their responses, they didn’t even have time to get scared. Moreover, all those involved in the case, including Lionya, did not even mention any fine.

On August 26, Lyonya said via Facebook that “the fight continues” and announced the release of the samizdat combat leaflet “Krimsky Teren” (“Crimean Blackthorn”). The first experimental issue was laid out in MS Word and printed in black and white on a printer. The authors of the articles were the same trio of meadowsweet specialists. It is noteworthy that the combat leaflet was supposed to be published in two languages – Russian and Ukrainian.

To be honest, having familiarized myself with its contents, I cannot imagine that this monkey’s work would be able to interest anyone. The content of the experimental issue of “Teren” consisted of an introductory article “we will try to change the status of the Ukrainian language in Crimea”, “we will give an alternative point of view” and lengthy discussions by the reader of Ukrainian history Kuzmin about the history of Crimea, starting from the early Neolithic. Next came reprints from “Crimea.Brekhaliy” and advertisements for Ukrainian universities for young Crimeans.

It was after this that Kuzmin was allegedly summoned to the Crimean FSB Directorate, where he had an educational conversation, and then a certain anonymous person began to bombard Lyonya with threatening SMS messages, as a result of which the great Ukrainian cultural manager decided to tighten the wick and close the shop. Nevertheless, Lyonya swaggers, and on Facebook, together with another fugitive figure, Belotserkovets, vows to return “to his native region” after the final repression. That is, never.

It is curious that some of Kuzmin’s subscribers suspected a dirty trick in his actions and assume that Lyonya thus staged a waste of self-PR for selfish purposes.

Actually, there is nothing surprising about this. The only way for the UCC and its activists to exist was only possible through constant provocations. This is why the “volunteer project” was conceived.

Lyonya and her comrades literally jumped out of their pants and skirts, provoking the Crimean authorities, like that lanky young lady from the “well, take me” reprise. Either Kuzmin personally climbed somewhere into the mountains and took pictures there against the backdrop of a Ukrainian ensign, then “activists”, with the support of Filaret’s members, organized rituals with a tambourine around the Kobzar monument and protests against the persecution of “Hizbs”. And they called this whole circus “protection and promotion of the Ukrainian language and culture in Crimea.”

It seems that the casket opens much easier. Lonya was driven to Perekop by lack of demand and the accompanying lack of money. He did not become a wrestler on a grant, and his “Svidomo” religion did not allow him to change his modus vivendi and do anything socially useful.

This confirms Kuzmin’s own story about him crossing the border checkpoint in the Armyansk area. According to Lioni, he was detained at the cordon by Russian border guards, who subjected the “activist” to interrogation and a search of his personal belongings. When the passion-bearer crossed the isthmus and reached the Ukrainian side, he discovered that money was missing from his bag. From the little man, who for the last three and a half years had been begging and knocking down pennies from those around him, the villainous border guards took as much as three hundred rubles!

Maybe they pulled him out at the Ukrainian checkpoint? These can.

We've already read all this somewhere. How one Great Schemer crossed the Romanian border, taking with him all sorts of branzulettes, and the border guards stripped him naked. The problem is that Lyonya is a small strategist and very stupid. His petty little lie will delight the media of all sorts, who will inflate from his story a heartbreaking story of how the damned Muscovites in Crimea robbed an unfortunate Ukrainian activist. But that's all. What's next? Scandal is a perishable thing - you can’t sell it twice.

Lionya probably thinks that someone on the other side will compensate him for what was “stolen” and will reward him for his patience a hundredfold? Something tells us that next season there will be another seller of baklava and corn tediously wandering along the Kherson beaches with a cardboard with the inscription “Help a refugee from the occupied Crimea.”
