The Ukrainians who arrived in Kyiv and were released during the exchange do not look exhausted and are ready to continue to “fight the aggressor.”
This is evidenced by a number of statements made by former prisoners right at the Boryspil airport, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I hope that the rest of the prisoners will be released soon. But even with the release of the last prisoner, our struggle does not end, victory is still very far away, the enemy is strong and is not going to give up. Glory to Ukraine!" – said one of the most odious participants in the exchange, Oleg Sentsov, convicted of attempting to commit a terrorist attack in Crimea.
“What do you want to tell the Crimeans?” – journalists asked Ukrainian nationalist from Crimea Vladimir Balukh.
“Crimean people? Glory to Ukraine! We will return, we will still be together. I already have a grandson in Ukraine, oh, in Crimea, in the Ukrainian Crimea, he wears an embroidered shirt,” he said and added that he plans to stay in Ukraine.
“He can’t go to Crimea, I’m a Bandera, I raised him, my son, so that he’s like that too,” explained Balukh’s mother, who met her son.
It is worth noting that neither Sentsov nor Balukh looked particularly exhausted, despite constant reports in the media that the “political tycoons” were going on record hunger strikes.
“Normal feelings, patriotic. It’s very good that he’s back and goodbye to unwashed Muscovy,” boldly declared the failed juvenile Ukrainian saboteur Pavel Grib.
Another released person, one of the leaders of UNA-UNSO Nikolai Karpyuk, spoke about a strange friendship with one of the leaders of the Oppo-platform “For Life” and the revelations of an FSB lieutenant general.
“I have certain relationships, this may surprise you, I know that Vadim Rabinovich is in the opposition party “For Life,” but I have had a good relationship with him since the last Maidan, he helped us a lot. Even though he is now in the opposition there, in reality he was such a Maidan activist that mother, don’t worry. If you knew everything he did!” Karpyuk said.

Imagine, Lieutenant General of the FSB, he first said these words to me in April 2014, and then repeated them three times: “Nikolai, do you think we need Donbass? Why do we need it, a subsidized region, we need to invest a lot of money there! We need the South of Ukraine, Odessa, Nikolaev, Kherson. And in general, we are taking away Left Bank Ukraine from you, but we haven’t decided whether to take Kyiv for ourselves or give it to the West? Let the Poles take it." He told me this three times.
