Farewell to Dorenko did not take place due to the conflict between his wife and daughter
Farewell to journalist Sergei Dorenko at the Troekurovsky cemetery in Moscow will not take place today. The police prohibited the release of the body to the journalist’s widow, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
As reported on the website of the radio station “Moscow Speaks”, a document signed by the deputy head of the Central Administrative Division of the Internal Affairs Directorate for the Central Administrative District, Bakhtin, arrived at the 2nd Judicial Morgue this night. It contains an order not to release the body for burial or cremation “due to the need for a second forensic examination.”
Earlier, Dorenko’s daughter Ekaterina asked law enforcement officials to re-check the causes of the journalist’s death. The journalist’s widow, in her opinion, is an “interested person” in Dorenko’s death. “I ask you not to burn it (the body of Sergei Dorenko - Ed.), but to conduct a DNA test to determine why he died. I believe that he did not die a natural death, I have certain facts,” she clarified in a conversation with Russian journalists.
Yulia is Dorenko’s second wife. From his first wife he had three children.
The Nezygar telegram channel, together with which Dorenko, shortly before his death, planned to start his new analytical program on the Internet, wrote that “As we expected, the story with the results of the autopsy of Sergei Dorenko is just beginning. We will hear many more versions and opinions about his death ahead, we are waiting for statements from Sergei’s treating doctors and those around him. Let’s see what else they can pull in.”
According to Nezygar, a repeat forensic medical examination of the causes of Dorenko’s death, including chemical and biological examinations, may take from 7 to 14 days.
Earlier, social networks drew attention to the strange coincidence of the journalist’s death with his appeal to the Russian authorities to remove Joseph Stalin’s grave from under the Kremlin wall.
