The other day one year has passed since the beginning of the commodity blockade of the Crimea. 20 September 2015 of the year, dissatisfied with how the process of “de-occupation” of the Crimea, the gang of Mejlis militants, pravosek and Kherson “terbats”, is going, decided to speed up the path to the “peremog”, blocking checkpoints to the Crimea. First “Kalanchak” and “Chongar”, and the next day - “Perekop”. Proving thereby that, in their mental development, they stand at the level of a capricious child from the movie who wanted to achieve reciprocity from Little Red Riding Hood by “I will order you to whip you with whips, and you will love me like a pretty girl!”.
In the Crimea, they would not have remembered this degenerative blockade if it were not for two events. On the eve of the anniversary of the irrepressible Islyamov along with other "activists" announced a rally. And literally one day before the event, two militants, the brothers Rustem and Akim Osmanov, fled straight to the Crimea from the Medzhlis battalion named after Noman Chelebidzhihan.
Over the past year, you can sum up some results.
What have the islyamovtsy achieved with the pravosek for the year of the commodity blockade? First of all, they changed the logistics of supplying goods to the Crimea in favor of Russian manufacturers. But the most important thing is that the Crimean agriculture got a chance for rebirth, and it was not missed.
In the Soviet years, the agriculture of Crimea provided with products not only the inhabitants of the Peninsula, but also millions of visitors. And not only in the holiday season. The Crimea was a year-round health resort, and people en masse came to the sanatoriums of the South Coast in the winter: to heal, to wander along the surf line along the embankment, to see snow on palm trees, to breathe the wonderful mountain air filled with the scent of cedars and cypresses.
In Ukraine, the entire production and economy of the Crimea was heavily damaged. Dozens of millionaire state farms and hundreds of wealthy farms that were well on their feet disappeared. It is enough to remember that many state farms, for example, the Belogorsk district, having fulfilled the plan for handing over agricultural goods to the state, opened their gardens and fields to everyone to collect the remains. Just so that the good will not disappear. Is free. Pickup and samovykop. People came, collected and took home full trunk and bags with autumn apples, late pears, quince, grapes, potatoes, cabbage, carrots ... While all this could be bought in the vegetable department of the nearest grocery store for a penny.
The invisible hand of the market, driven by Svidomo experts from Kiev, very quickly stopped all this disgrace with the Crimean abundance, having built the Crimean economy in such a way that it became easier and more profitable for food products to be imported to Crimea than to grow and process agricultural products on site. By the way, by the year 2014 there were practically no large canneries in the Crimea.
Seeing on the shelves of Greek or Turkish apples, apricots, peaches, grapes, and even at inhuman prices - for many Crimeans this situation was offensive.
Gradually, during the 22 of the year of Crimea's stagnation as part of Ukraine, a situation arose in which its own agricultural and processing sector was destroyed, and the neighboring Kherson region became the main supplier.
Arranging a blockade of goods, the thugs hoped that deliveries from the mainland through the bottleneck of transport links through the Kerch Strait would lead to an acute shortage of food, and through a shortage - to the mass discontent of the Crimean people. “Deoccupation” is inevitable - check and checkmate! All prostrate, and Chubarov triumphantly enters the Crimea on an Arabian steed with arba sausage and Kherson tomatoes ...
Only the inventors did not take into account: the cargo traffic from the beginning of the transport blockade in 2014 for a year and a half Crimea = Russia has already shifted in favor of Russian and Belarusian supplies. The share of Ukrainian manufacturers accounted for no more than 10% of the Crimean market, some of which remained to conduct business in the Crimea. And in the days of the blockade, the cargo traffic through the Kerch ferry from mainland Russia only increased, turning Ukrainian food in the Crimean stores into sunset in kind.
Having arranged a food blockade, the thugs sawed off a branch, on which Ukrainian business and many small producers from the Kherson region had long been firmly seated. According to some reports, before the blockade began, the profits of Ukrainian food suppliers to the Crimea reached two million dollars a day. 60 million evergreens per month, Karl! Even more - at the peak of the holiday season. In addition, the motor transport that arrived from behind Perekop to the Crimea was filled to the ears with relatively inexpensive gasoline and the alamezon, up to the reading hut, was following the path with satisfaction. Now for the residents of Kherson there is no cheap gasoline and they have nowhere to sell their crops.
Characteristically, the resulting surplus of goods did not bring abundance and a total reduction in prices. The blockade was won only by the mafia, which bought up goods from the villagers at a lower price. And even then, temporarily. At low purchase prices was followed by a logical reaction of the agricultural producer - a reduction in production. Moreover, not only the Ukrainian village suffered from the actions of ultra-radicals, but also the local Crimean Tatars, who carried their own crops to the Crimea, for sale.
And we do not touch on the slippery topic of criminal lawlessness, established at the checkpoints in the Crimea by the Islamovtsy, pravosekami and fascists from “Azov”. Thugs without the slightest embarrassment rob people with the full connivance of the Ukrainian border guards and the Interior Ministry.
What are the indicators Crimea celebrates the anniversary of the blockade? Much to the chagrin of the Ukrainian business and to the indignation of the “activists”, in Crimea there was a serious growth in all branches of agriculture in literally all indicators. If in 2015, the growth of own production reached 36% compared to 2013, then by the end of the third quarter of 2016 (according to the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade) last year's figures in animal husbandry, crop production, and food production were covered by 15-20%.
And this is just the beginning. Together with Russia, serious investment projects entered the Crimea in the agricultural sector, and winemaking and viticulture in the Crimea became the locomotive for the development of the industry throughout Russia. In order to fully feel the return on investment, some time should pass, but there is a reason for optimism: in the near future, Crimea will reach full food self-sufficiency and begin to compete with Russian breadbaskets such as the Kuban and the Rostov Region. Against the background of existing successes, investors are planning to invest more 11 billion rubles in agriculture and food production in the near future. And these are not empty promises, but solid contracts signed by the Crimean government with investors in early June of this year.
Well, and who sows the wind, will certainly receive a storm. Residents of the Kherson region now understand the Crimeans much better and the motives for which they went to the 16 March March 2014 referendum in order to cast their vote for reunification with Russia. In the end, the Maidanian mist over Ukraine will not last forever.
