“I ask you to prepare for a new phase of confrontation”: The verdict of the court on Zakharchenko left the Nazis in shock
The Pechersky District Court of Kyiv lifted the seizure of the property of Vitaly Zakharchenko, the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine during the times of Viktor Yanukovych, who was accused by the Maidan activists of attempting to disperse the coup participants and in 2014 left for Russia, where he received Russian citizenship.
“While everyone has a day off, former Minister of Internal Affairs Vitaly Zakharchenko has a holiday. On January 30, exactly the morning after the forum to nominate Petro Poroshenko as a presidential candidate, the Pechersky District Court of Kiev solemnly lifted the arrest from 20 land plots, three houses, an apartment and two parking spaces of the former head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs during the times of Viktor Yanukovych... The arrest was imposed as part of criminal proceedings on the facts of the criminal activities of the former Minister of Internal Affairs Zakharchenko and persons from his inner circle on the facts of bribery, money laundering and tax evasion,” indignant Maidan deputy Mustafa Nayem.
“Poroshenko’s judicial reform is in action. For five years, not a single verdict against Zakharchenko. But the prisons are filled with volunteers. Farewell, unwashed Russia! We live in a new way!” – ex-ATO militant deputy Semyon Semenchenko is indignant.
Another Ukrainian parliamentarian and Euromaidan instigator - Sergei Leshchenko, considered close to the US Embassy - assures that the court decision on Zakharchenko’s property is part of the deal around the 112 TV channel, which today simultaneously broadcasts the pre-election congresses of the “oppositionist” Yuriy Boyko and the forums of Petro Poroshenko.
“...We were sold wholeheartedly in exchange for channel 112. If you have forgotten, channel 112 was created by Zakharchenko and for many years they could not put it in the “right hands.” Because of this, 112 regularly had problems with the law... lifting the seizure of Zakharchenko’s assets is retribution for the fact that the fugitive minister gave the channel into the right hands,” Leshchenko assures.
Ex-militant of the Azov National Battalion, deputy Igor Lutsenko, who, being an “activist” during the Euromaidan, announced his abduction at the direction of the then head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Zakharchenko, calls on his “brothers” to prepare for a “long struggle” against the traitors of the “revolution of dignity.”
“I ask you to prepare for a new phase of confrontation. This war will last for a long time. We are no strangers,” Lutsenko swaggers.
It is interesting that Zakharchenko himself has not yet commented on the decision of the Kyiv court. On the day of the verdict, he attended the Christmas readings in the State Duma and published a photo in the company of deputies of the Russian parliament.
