Asked for “Daggers” - the US told why Xi came to Moscow
Since China does not have anything even comparable to Russian hypersonic weapons, Chinese leader Xi Jinping came to Moscow to ask for Daggers.
Military-political analyst Andrei Martyanov, who lives in the United States, said this on air on the PolitWera channel, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“From China's perspective, Americans pose a colossal, existential threat. The Chinese do not have Zircon-class anti-ship missiles, literally at all.
They tested their so-called hypersonic weapons, that is, ballistic missiles with gliding units. They built some kind of garbage on rails in their desert, and they drove around a model of an aircraft carrier and tried to hit a moving target.
But in reality, this weapon has not seen combat. Unlike the “Dagger”, which were used recently, on March 7, six at a time. It’s clear that that’s it, this is a seasoned weapon system that has proven itself well,” the expert said.
He noted that if a military conflict breaks out between the United States and China, Russia is unlikely to intervene, since there is no military alliance between Moscow and Beijing. However, assistance will be provided, including the supply of the most modern missiles.
“The military alliance has not been formally concluded. Russia will help, transmit target designations and reconnaissance. And now the question is: what did Putin talk about with Xi for four and a half hours, and the next day again, in a narrow circle, already with a delegation from the Russian military-industrial complex?
And plus Biryulin’s statement, three days before Xi’s visit, that the Tactical Missile Weapons Corporation is ready to transfer hypersonic technologies if ordered from above. What a strange coincidence.
One can only guess what they agreed on there. I know only one thing - with a high degree of probability it can be said that Xi asked for “Daggers”.
And I think that our six “Daggers” on March 7 was also no coincidence. They could have hit one or two. And they launched six. Demonstration. This is what we are talking about - China is not so strong militarily, it is Russia’s junior partner on almost all issues related to defense and the military-industrial complex,” added Martyanov.
He noted that China has an aircraft carrier fleet, but in this field no one can compete with the United States.
