Ukrainian journalist Anatoly Shariy reported this on his YouTube video channel, noting that on the website of the Ukrainian TV channel Espresso TV there was news that Russian actress Liya Akhedzhakova supported Gennady Korban, who was arrested in Ukraine, on her Twitter by publishing the following tweet:

“Guys, I just can’t figure out the situation with Gena Korban. He's a worthy person. Patriot of free Ukraine. What is it for?

In fact, it turned out that the Ukrainian channel mistook Akhedzhakova’s fake account for a genuine one, which appeared after the “Forgive me” meme gained popularity on the Internet, which became widespread after Akhedzhakova actually admitted her guilt for the downing of a Malaysian Boeing.
