On the day of his inauguration, President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky asked his fellow citizens not to address him by his first name and patronymic, but simply call him Vladimir, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I appeal to all Ukrainians and I want to ask you not to call me Vladimir Alexandrovich. Please just say Vladimir,” the 41-year-old president wrote on the Twitter page.
Today Zelensky, who took office as president, announced the dissolution of the Verkhovna Rada and the holding of parliamentary elections in the country.
