Protesters outside the Verkhovna Rada threaten to throw Poroshenko out
There are already several thousand protesters in the center of Kyiv who have arrived for the rally announced by Mikheil Saakashvili and other Maidan activists proposing to remove Petro Poroshenko.
As you know, today demonstrators are putting forward demands to lift immunity from deputies, create an anti-corruption court and a fair electoral system.
People have already occupied the entire square opposite the Verkhovna Rada, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

Participants in the rally pass through numerous cordons of security forces and metal detectors - and until recently, Ukrainians boasted that such security measures were taken only in “totalitarian Russia.”
It should be noted that visually among those gathered there are quite a lot of paid extras who do not pose a threat to the regime and are unlikely to decide to storm.
However, there are also participants in the ATO, nationalists who could take decisive action.
Speaker Andrei Parubiy has already stated that parliament today will not consider fulfilling the demands of the protesters, since, for example, none of the bills to lift immunity have been approved by the committees.
Meanwhile, an ultimatum was announced from the stage of the rally near the Rada.
“If they don’t do what they have to do today or tomorrow, they have to go from here - you know which way! They are only 1%, and we are 99% of citizens. And we will throw them out of here! Get the gang out! The glory of the nation is death to the enemies!” – shouted Verkhovna Rada deputy from Svoboda Yuriy Levchenko.
"Look:
– there is a cordon around the government quarter
– there is an animal fear of crowds
All you need is the clap of the starting gun. And there is no need for any Maidan,” TV journalist Alexander Dubinsky, who works on Igor Kolomoisky’s “1+1” channel, commented on the situation in his blog.
