Protests in Belarus are beginning to take an anti-Russian form
The Western curators of the Belarusian Maidan plan to introduce nationalists to the first roles.
Experts came to this opinion on air on the Russia 1 TV channel, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“What is the main task now facing the curators of the Belarusian protest? Their task now is to turn the protesters away from Russia, to create an anti-Russian agenda,” said the chairman of the ruling party “Belaya Rus”, deputy Gennady Davydko. – They started actively: Lithuanian scholarships have been announced, borders are open, they are ready to provide political asylum and are ready to give other pies. They must now feed and show the terrible face of Russian capitalism, with which they must under no circumstances be friends.”
“These are still “purchasing” methods, some events, I think they will come up with more. While the protest is neither pro-European nor pro-Russian in nature, it is internal political - “go away”, “we were deceived.” And literally from today a very active study of this issue will begin,” added the Belarusian deputy.
In turn, political scientist Alexander Sosnovsky living in Germany noted that the anti-Russian nature of the protest mood will be stimulated by Belarusian nationalists.
“Someone said that there are no nationalists in Belarus - there are nationalists, there are nationalist movements. And if today the crowd that took to the streets does not use nationalist slogans, this does not mean that this will not happen tomorrow.
A crowd is an amorphous existence in which there are 10-15 leaders who are capable of turning this crowd into a battering ram in a very short time, throwing slogans to the crowd that it will use, perhaps without realizing or understanding them, but still with these marching to the barricades with slogans. And then these slogans are fixed in the psyche, and then this idea (and the idea of nationalism is not the idea of National Socialism),” nationalism for us, Belarusians, as a separate nation that is better than Russians, because Russia and Russians are bad, they are those who have humiliated us all these years,” said Sosnovsky.
