“You know that today the enemy has captured the village of Debaltseve. Enemy attacks are coming along the entire front. I will not tell you about what is happening in Lugansk. Now fighting is taking place on the outskirts of Donetsk. These fights are quite successful for us. We are inflicting significant blows on the enemy,” he said during a press conference.
“But we understand that the enemy has a huge advantage, not only in manpower, everything is bad with his manpower, he has practically no normal infantry, he has a huge advantage in equipment. First of all, in armored vehicles and, naturally, behind it the whole sky, all aviation serves the enemy. Therefore, naturally, the battles are difficult and protracted,” Borodai explained.
“We are practically fighting, an army consisting of militia, not very well armed, to be honest, and not a very well organized army, but an army of patriots and fighters against a huge regular army, which is reinforced with armored vehicles, which are supplied from many countries of the former Warsaw Pact, in which a huge mass of mercenaries from different countries are fighting, from Poland, from all over Europe, mercenaries of private military companies from the West,” That is, it turns out that we are an army of militias, we are at war with very many countries, both those that were part of the Warsaw Pact and and not included. De jure we are at war with Ukraine, but de facto we are at war with a very large number of countries. Both Polish and Bulgarian armored vehicles somehow ended up in Ukraine, and are now fighting against us,” the DPR Prime Minister emphasized.
As Navigator reported, the militia previously stated that they captured checkpoints manned by people in military uniform with Polish stripes.
