A case has been filed against the company that failed the reconstruction of Victory Park in Sevastopol
The office of the RF Investigative Committee in Sevastopol announced the initiation of a criminal case regarding non-payment of wages to employees of Glassok Sevastopol LLC, the main contractor for the reconstruction of the city's largest Victory Park.
It is reported that salaries totaling over 1 million rubles were not paid in full to 9 employees from June to September. The investigation establishes other victims and periods of non-payment of wages.
As PolitNavigator reported, the day before, Sevastopol Governor Dmitry Ovsyannikov announced his intention to terminate the 1 billion ruble contract with Glass for the reconstruction of Victory Park. The main reason is the delay in delivery of the project. This is the second contractor with whom the government has terminated its contract for the park.
Money for reconstruction was allocated as part of the federal target program for the development of Crimea. The park was supposed to be completed in December.
Deputy of the Legislative Assembly of Sevastopol Ivan Kusov, whom Governor Ovsyannikov entrusted with overseeing the reconstruction of Victory Park, said that he dreams that the facility will be commissioned by Victory Day. Let us note that this date was given to the PolitNavigator correspondent by workers in the park.
