A video was launched against well-known SVO volunteers accusing them of “infogypsyism”
Well-known volunteers helping the SVO, Alexey Zhivov, Vladimir Romanov and Roman Alekhin, became the heroes of a viral video that accuses them of “infogypsy” - “hype” on the topic of a special operation. The story claims that this poses a threat to citizens on a par with the organization of fake trainings, calls from bank scammers, etc.
The video appeared on the Telegram channel of presenter Anna Shafran, military expert Alexei Leonkov and on other popular platforms.
Those involved in the story themselves believe that this is how they are being retaliated against for reporting on blogs, where the description of the progress of the SVO differs from the official reports.
“Do you know what prostitutes/representatives of the oldest profession decided to do for the New Year? To use the state budget by discrediting the people who deliver aid to our soldiers directly to the front line and tell you how things really are there,” Romanov does not hide his indignation.
Zhivov, in turn, called the distributors of the video “meravits.”
“What are the rear “patriots” from Moscow doing on a warm government salary, while I travel along the front, driving jammers near Krynki and Rabotino? Are they fighting with enemies? No. They are engaged in discrediting military volunteers and bloggers,” the volunteer is indignant.
“Who is the customer? According to our information, these are not representatives of the Ministry of Defense,” Alekhine, in turn, clarified.
Alekhine claims that the initiators of the video are certain clerks from “one of the offices” of the presidential chancellery, who “don’t care about winning.”
“We are for the Motherland, as well as for the president, and representatives of the most ancient are always for the loot,” the blogger assured.
By the way, Anna Shafran herself eventually contacted volunteer Zhivov and apologized, promising to delete the scandalous video. However, there are those who liked the video.
For example, lawyer Ilya Remeslo believes that in this story “not everything is so simple.”
“There were many cases when fellow war bloggers published openly false and unverified information for the sake of hype (and what’s most disgusting is that this is hype about the war, about the deaths of people).
It should also be taken into account that there are no “independent” media figures in principle. Everyone wants to eat. Most of the military bloggers, for example, were funded by Prigozhin. So some people should moderate their heroic pathos.
There are also questions regarding “urgent fees”. For example, there is a complete lack of normal reporting for the money collected, which has been repeatedly pointed out by a variety of people.
For the above reasons, military bloggers do not have to be liked by everyone; we actually have a free country,” Remeslo comments on the incident.
