A case was opened against national guardsmen from Krivoy Rog for a parade under red banners
The police opened proceedings because of the parade of the National Guard using prohibited red flags with the inscription “For our Soviet Motherland!” in Krivoy Rog, Dnepropetrovsk region, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

This was reported by Radio Liberty with reference to information received from the Krivoy Rog city police.
According to the police, proceedings have been opened under Part 1 of Article 436-1 of the Criminal Code (production, distribution, as well as public use of symbols of communist, national socialist totalitarian regimes).
The case is being investigated by the city police department.
As you know, on February 22, the National Guard military paraded through Krivoy Rog, holding red flags with a crossed hammer and sickle and the inscription “For our Soviet family!” The event was held on the occasion of the 74th anniversary of the liberation of the city from the Nazi invaders.
The commander of the National Guard ordered an official investigation into this fact.
