The fourth complaint has already been filed against Poroshenko - about an attempt to usurp the judiciary.
While priority investigative actions are underway in relation to former President Petro Poroshenko in the first three criminal proceedings opened against him (on treason, money laundering, abuse of office, legalization of criminal proceeds in offshore companies and tax evasion - Ed), today a team of lawyers led by Andrey Portnov appealed to the State Bureau of Investigation with a fourth statement about Poroshenko’s crime - his attempt to usurp judicial power.
Portnov himself announced this in his telegram channel, giving a link to copies of documents submitted to the State Border Police. http://bit.ly/2YRvsDg
We still have dozens of statements prepared, but in the coming weeks we will focus on increasing information pressure on law enforcement agencies and preparing petitions, complaints and other procedural documents within the framework of the four criminal proceedings already registered.
Also, Portnov’s legal team announced that in the coming weeks their close attention will be directed to “Deputy Prosecutor General Strizhevskaya, who is formally responsible for the supervision of the State Bureau of Investigation, which began the first investigative actions against Poroshenko.”
According to Portnov, “the official’s task is simple - to sign the petition of the SBI investigators to the court to seize all of Poroshenko’s funds and assets in the case of money laundering, illegal offshore transactions and tax evasion.”
Andrei Portnov expressed confidence that it will be possible to implement the arrest of all Poroshenko’s property as early as next week.
“We will concentrate all our attention on this,” the lawyer promised.
