The same methods are used against Russia as for the collapse of the USSR - Evstafiev
Western structures trying carry out a coup in Russia, are trying to impose on the people of the Russian Federation the false opinion that they are supported by the majority of youth and intelligentsia.
Professor of the Higher School of Economics Dmitry Evstafiev said this today on the Rossiya-1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“They (Alexei Navalny’s supporters – editor’s note) are trying to create the illusion of dominance, and we fall for it. I’ll give you an example: we are all now saying that we have lost youth, we have lost youth policy. And who told us that this scoundrel who shouted something on Pushkin Square is our youth? Is this the majority of young people? No. But they imposed this on us,” he said.
According to Dmitry Evstafiev, the West will then try to impose the statements of liberal cultural figures as the “opinion of the intelligentsia”, which must be obeyed.
“Do you know what will happen next? They will say that these are the majority of our cultural figures. But that's not true. We have normal actors, theater directors and a great directing school, but they will impose on us the idea that this is the salt and the dominant line, that we must listen to them.
By the way, this is how they broke the CPSU during the perestroika period: “The CPSU must listen to the intelligentsia.” And then they tell us: “But these are the intelligentsia,” the expert added.
