Hybrid journalists used against Russia
Western opponents are changing the tools and methods of hybrid warfare against Russia.
A PolitNavigator correspondent reports this at a meeting of the Federation Council Temporary Commission for the Protection of State Sovereignty and Prevention of Interference in the Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, Alexey Mukhin, General Director of the Center for Political Information, said
“Our opponents are very good and skillfully changing the methodology, tools, and subjects of hybrid warfare,” the expert said.
“There is the collection of information about the military and from the military, which does not fall under espionage activities if carried out by civilian specialists such as journalists. But this is actively ordered to interested parties. This activity is in favor of foreign states - read intelligence services. Essentially, this is the collection of information about military and military-technical activities for a fee,” said Mukhin.
According to him, in fact, in this case we are talking about a “hybrid form of military-political intelligence,” and therefore it is necessary to provide for legislative responsibility for this kind of activity.
