“Suitcases of compromising evidence” will be dumped against Turchynov and Yatsenyuk in the Ukrainian court
Former Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov appealed to the Obolonsky District Court of Kyiv with an application to testify as a witness in the case of high treason against the former President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Yanukovych's lawyer Vitaly Serdyuk announced this on Facebook.
“I do not have the opportunity to come directly to the Obolonsky court of Kiev to testify in connection with the persecution of me on the territory of Ukraine for political reasons... In addition, I regularly receive threats of physical destruction to myself and my loved ones from unknown persons and I believe that Ukraine is in danger for my life,” Azarov said in a statement.

In a statement, Azarov called for his interrogation as a witness in the case of Yanukovych’s treason, via video conference from the authorized Moscow court.
