Kolomoisky's opponents approached him from the Israeli rear
On December 18, on the third anniversary of nationalization, PrivatBank initiated new legal proceedings in the District Court of Tel Aviv in Israel against the former owners of the bank, including Igor Kolomoisky and other defendants, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The claim is reported to be worth $600 million.
“Also, based on further analysis, PrivatBank increased the amount of claims in the Chancery Court of the State of Delaware in the United States by filing an amended statement of claim with the court,” the bank said in a statement without specifying the new amount of claims.
According to it, the bank is also continuing to prepare for a hearing on the merits of its claim against former owners and others for more than $3 billion (including interest) in the High Court of England and Wales.
“The independent supervisory board and the board of the bank, according to the law, are obliged to make every possible effort to ensure that the losses of the bank are compensated by those who caused these losses. We will continue to act in the best interests of our clients and other stakeholders,” emphasizes the PrivatBank statement signed by the head of the supervisory board, Sharon Iska, and the head of the board, Petr Krumhanzl.
