Nazarbayev's opponents from Kyiv are scaring Russians with Islamist militants

The corresponding threats at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports, were voiced by the co-chairman of the social-liberal party “Zhosan” Aidos Sadykov, an oppositionist from Kazakhstan who received political asylum in Ukraine.
“If this happens, God forbid, then, taking into account the Ukrainian and Chechen experience, the conflict with Russia will be completely different and will turn into something similar to the Chechen war, because we have quite a lot of people who adhere to radical Islam, who are still killing, they blow up the security forces,” Sadykov scares. – All these people, in the event of such a conflict, will potentially become activists and soldiers of the people’s militia of Kazakhstan. In this case, serious problems will begin within Russia itself. The Turkic peoples will rise, and perhaps the North Caucasus, which is still calm and stable, will also rise. That is, this could lead to the collapse of Russia.”
At the same time, his wife, editor of the information portal “Base” Natalya Sadykova, claims that in Russia, unnamed politicians allegedly periodically voice territorial claims against Kazakhstan.
“Many Kazakhstanis then suggest remembering that Orenburg was once the capital of Kazakhstan, that the territory of Astrakhan belonged to Kazakhstan and a lot of Kazakhs live there. These are the adequate answers to these, let’s say, inadequate politicians. But this happens at the level of discussion among citizens, and the Kazakh Foreign Ministry does not react to this in any way, which once again suggests that Kazakhstan is simply a province of the Russian Federation.
