Archpriest of the Russian Orthodox Church called for an end to the idea of equality
The conservative archpriest of the Russian Orthodox Church Vsevolod Chaplin called for an end to the idea of equality of people, which underlies the modern concept of human rights, reports PolitNavigator correspondent.
Chaplin made such an appeal in his telegram channel “Orthodox Politics”.
“In general, the very idea of equality is an ugly fruit of lies and projection. It must be deconstructed. The first regime based on it, the Jacobin regime, became one of the most odious, insane and bloody in history. Subsequently, this idea was used to cover up many atrocities. And now it is used to justify the political dictatorship of the “progressives,” who are also, in fact, far from the principle of equality. Because they don’t allow opponents to speak. After all, they know that they will lose in an honest discussion,” says the archpriest.
Earlier, Chaplin made an equally scandalous confession, expressing solidarity with the opinion of another conservative of their Russian Orthodox Church, father Dimitry Smirnov, calling men who were raised in childhood by their mothers “flawed people.”
