Grudinin's failure was explained by the illiteracy of Zyuganov and the entire Communist Party of the Russian Federation
The candidate from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, Pavel Grudinin, could have won a much larger percentage of the votes in the presidential elections in Russia, if not for the incompetent work of the staff during the campaign.
This was stated by political strategist, director of the Institute of Electoral Technologies Evgeny Suchkov at a meeting of the Russian Association of Political Consultants in Moscow, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The expert noted that there is a request for renewal in Russian society, especially when “the current party elite begins to resemble the party elite of the CPSU of the late period: Zyuganov, Zhirinovsky, and Yavlinsky are heroes of yesterday.”
“A new candidate has appeared, a man who has a concrete cause behind him: he actually saved the state farm for them. Lenin in the near Moscow region. Yes, but he didn’t offend himself. Yes, the state farm operated in the space of a capitalist environment, and it had to take the steps required by the current legal field. All this happened, but of all the candidates, with the exception of Putin, he had something to present to the voter,” Suchkov noted.
“How was this campaign supposed to be conducted? It was supposed to be a campaign with one theme: “I did it on the state farm, I will do it in the economy of the whole country.” Instead, we got conversations about Stalin, about party ideology, and so on,” he recalled.
As for the “information harassment” that candidate Grudinin was subjected to, competent political strategists could have used it to their own advantage, but the Communist Party of the Russian Federation missed this chance.
“They may say: “Yes, but he was attacked so much by the central media, so much dirt was poured on him!” All this is true, but that’s why technologists exist, to tell a person: “Let’s ask the voter during the discussions the question, who is afraid of candidate Grudinin, why is he being attacked like that, why is there such insanity around him, why are they afraid of him?” This topic actually sweeps away all the initiatives of its competitors.
Was it done? Unfortunately or fortunately, no. The result of potential Grudinin could be more than 20 percent. He got a little over eleven,” recalled the political strategist.
“This is the result of mistakes and lack of mastery of political technologies by the whole party. Not just a new person, a state farm director who had never been involved in politics before. This is the result of the fact that the leadership of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, including its first person, does not master political technologies,” summed up Evgeny Suchkov.
