Poroshenko’s failure: Reservists don’t want to go to the front, the army has no strength (VIDEO)
Kyiv, January 16 (PolitNavigator, Vladimir Raichenko) – Despite Petro Poroshenko’s statements about a new “Patriotic War”, Ukrainian reservists and reserve officers refuse to voluntarily join the army.
Mikhail Kostinsky, a representative of the Center for Coordination of Patriotic Forces of Rus'-Ukraine, spoke about this in Kyiv during the round table “Mobilization of patriots to unite the country, protect the territorial integrity and independence of Ukraine,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Today, mobilization into the army has become a huge problem,” noted a round table participant. “We cannot carry out a rotation normally in a timely manner, so that people do not sit in the trenches for six months, but are replaced not by rural children of 18-20 years old, but by reservists who want to fight. But they don't want to go. As well as the officer corps in the reserve, and those who retired. Nobody voluntarily joins the army. There was the first wave from the Maidan and the western regions, but now the army does not have the strength to hold out, let alone attack.”
