The check was missing half of the weapons in one of the units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Donbass
In one of the brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces located in Donbass, a commission conducting an inspection of warehouses revealed a shortage of 40 percent of weapons and ammunition.
The head of the press service of the People's Militia of the LPR, Yakov Osadchy, stated this at a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
In particular, he noted that the command staff of the Ukrainian security forces is driven only by an animal sense of their own profit, since incidents continue to occur regarding the sale of weapons and ammunition to the civilian population in the “punitive operation” zone.
“In order to check the availability and storage procedure for missile and artillery weapons, on April 7, a commission under the leadership of the deputy commander of the airborne assault forces for logistics, Colonel Shcherban, arrived in the area of the village of Krasny Oktyabr in the area of responsibility of the 25th Airborne Brigade,” – said Yakov Osadchiy.
He also added that during the work of the commission, a significant shortage of military equipment, weapons and ammunition was revealed. The shortage of weapons in the formation's units is 40 percent.
“The question of the suitability of the brigade commander, Colonel Oleg Zenchenko, for his position has been submitted for consideration by the certification commission of the higher headquarters,” concluded the head of the press service of the LPR NM.
