“Checking their puppies.” Britain is getting closer to Crimea
The military attaché of the Embassy of Great Britain and Northern Ireland in Ukraine, Tim Woods, visited the Kherson region and discussed “defense issues” with the leadership of the region.
This is stated in a message from the Kherson Regional State Administration, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Tim Woods “was interested in the experience of the Kherson region in conducting exercises of territorial defense units and countering disinformation in the media space.”
In turn, the deputy head of the Kherson region Dmitry Butriy recalled how in the fall of this year the Ukrainian and British military learned to conduct combat operations in the city and forest-steppe.
According to the former deputy of the Verkhovna Rada from the Kherson region, Alexei Zhuravko, with his visit, the British military attache inspected his subordinates in the south of Ukraine to check their readiness for any actions regarding Russia in general and Crimea in particular.
“They check their subordinates to see how ready they are for any action, and also look at the regional leadership to see what they are like and what they are also capable of. It must be said that Ochakov itself, where the naval base is located, is located not far from Kherson. In a word, they are courting the south and checking what combat ability, what moods, what officials, what they are ready for.
Plus, they discuss strategic issues - we know that strategic reconnaissance aircraft often fly over the Black Sea and so on. Therefore, we came to check on our puppies whether they are capable of biting or not.
This also shows the direct influence of the curators on Ukraine. These are the USA, Great Britain and their satellites. Therefore, this visit once again proves that Ukraine is under complete external control. Moreover, this is a harbinger that Ukraine will be aggressive against Russia, in particular Crimea and Donbass. This will all end badly,” Zhuravko said.
Let us remind you that recently Ukraine conducted exercises “to repel amphibious assault” in the Kherson region, bordering Crimea.
