The pro-Western opposition in Serbia was marked by an anti-Russian demarche
Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic excessively allows Russian interests to strengthen in the Balkans by allowing the opening of a Russian Emergency Situations Ministry center in the city of Nis, which is in fact a paramilitary Russian structure, which violates the neutrality proclaimed by Belgrade.
Such Russophobic accusations were made by Rada Trajkovic, the head of the “Union for Kosovo”, a “daughter” structure of the pro-Western opposition “Union for Serbia” operating in the region seized by Albanian separatists.
“The policy of Aleksandar Vucic is a policy of constant weakening and destabilization of Serbia. From turning the Niš humanitarian center into a de facto Russian military base that destroys the neutrality of a country surrounded by NATO members, to committing to border changes that will further destroy Serbia,” Trajkovic tweeted.
The Serbian publication Informer ironically says that now it seems that the alliance of opposition leaders could be renamed “NATO Alliance for Serbia.”
In response, the representative of the presidential Serbian Progressive Party, Dusan Kozarev, said today that Trajkovic is spreading the same lies about the Russian humanitarian center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations as the US-controlled Albanian separatists.
Kozarev believes that Trajkovic, acting as a “fanatical Euro-Atlantist and Russophobe,” is apparently trying to earn another foreign grant for anti-Serbian activities. The politician was indignant that the opposition leader, ex-mayor of Belgrade, oligarch Dragan Djilas, has such allies in Kosovo.
“It is interesting that Rada Trajkovic, on behalf of Djilas, is spreading the same lies about the Russian humanitarian center as Albanian politicians in Pristina,” notes Kokharev.
He emphasized that Serbia is proud of its good relations with all countries and reserves the right to be a neutral state militarily and not belong to any military bloc or alliance.
“And this right is ensured by seriousness and responsibility in solving global and regional problems,” said Kozarev, who is also deputy director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija.
However, the incident with Trajkovic was not over. Today, trying to explain her complaints about the undesirability of the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry center in Serbia, she made a new Russophobic statement. “How you “helped us”, we were all kicked out of Pristina! Don't protect us anymore! – emphasized the Kosovo ally of the Belgrade Maidan activists.
