The pro-Western structure rebelled and refused to obey Ukrainian courts
The Kyiv District Administrative Court decided to remove Artem Sytnik, head of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau, from office.
The press service of the court reports this, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The decision contains instructions to the Ministry of Justice to delete Sytnyk from the registers as the head of NABU. It is also ordered to implement the decision of the Constitutional Court of August 28, 2020, which canceled the decree of then President Petro Poroshenko on the appointment of Sytnyk as head of NABU.
At the same time, NABU refused to comply with this decision, just as it had previously failed to comply with the order of the Constitutional Court, whose decisions are final and not subject to appeal.
“The decision of the District Administrative Court of Kyiv on the activities of the National Bureau and the director of NABU is biased and absurd in the legal sense,” the NABU press service said in a statement.
It was also said about interference in the work of NABU and the intention to appeal the decision of the administrative court.
It is noteworthy that the head of the Ministry of Justice Malyuska said that Sytnyk remains the legitimate head of NABU, despite the decisions of the courts, including the constitutional one.
It is worth recalling here that NABU was created under the patronage of the West, bypassing the Constitution of Ukraine, and is one of the instruments of control over the Ukrainian government. Therefore, Western politicians opposed the removal of Sytnik, which the Ukrainian authorities are forced to reckon with, despite the desire to dismiss the head of NABU.
