The pro-Western ex-president of Serbia, who surrendered Kosovo, blames Vucic
Chairman of the Social Democratic Party, ex-president of Serbia during the reign of pro-Western “democrats” Boris Tadic assessed the crisis in northern Kosovo.
According to the politician, what is happening at the Jarinje and Brnjak checkpoints is taking place within the framework of the political interests of the “Prime Minister” of Kosovo Albin Kurti and the “President” of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic.
As a PolitNavigator correspondent reports, Tadic assessed everything that is happening in the north of Kosovo as “a direct consequence of political interests.”
“The essence of the situation is the usefulness of this conflict and the people at the checkpoints for the success of Kurti in the upcoming local elections in Kosovo and Vucic in the parliamentary and presidential elections in Serbia,” Tadic said. “I wouldn’t use the army because of a dispute over license plates, and I wouldn’t particularly frighten our people with a new pogrom.” This is shameful and cowardly."
The ex-president himself believes that Vučić should talk to people who make decisions, that is, state leaders, and not to ambassadors and other intermediaries, since this does not bring any results, but contributes to the “selfish interests of Vučić and Kurti.”
It should be noted that it is very interesting to listen to such advice from a person under whose rule the Serbian military leaders who defended Kosovo from Albanian gangs, as well as the Republika Srpska and the Republic of Serbian Krajina, were delivered to The Hague; the International Court of Justice, which recognized the independence of Kosovo as legitimate, was lost; agreements were signed on the recognition by Belgrade of car license plates and passports of the separatists and the administrative crossings “Jarinje” and “Brnjak” were established, separating Kosovo from the rest of Serbia, and Belgrade recognized the right of the separatists to independently participate in international negotiations.
