Tymoshenko's epiphany: Ukraine after the Maidan became a de facto colony of the West
Ukraine has become a dependent state ruled from abroad. The leader of the Batkivshchyna VO, Yulia Tymoshenko, stated this on the air of the Ukrainian Format talk show, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

According to her, a strong and self-sufficient Ukraine is an unprofitable competitor for other states.
“Part of our problems is that in Ukraine there is external control. We are told how to reform the judicial system, how our National Bank should work, we are told what we should do with the land, sell it or not, we are told that we need to transport our round timber, and not make furniture and everything else we can out of it sell in Ukraine,” the deputy was indignant.
“Dear friends, we have clear external governance, because the people who have been ruling Ukraine for many years, they simply put Ukraine in some kind of vassal position... No one in the world needs a strong, self-sufficient, successful Ukraine except us, Ukrainians. Because for everyone, a strong Ukraine is a competitor,” Tymoshenko said.
