Epiphany of an ATO participant: The West doesn’t give a damn about Ukraine
Kyiv, September 08 (PolitNavigator, Mikhail Ryabov) - Ukraine should not count on large-scale military assistance from the West, since they are more interested in receiving economic profits from contracts with Russia, rather than in supporting Ukrainian democracy.
This was stated by ATO participant Konstantin Lesnik, a developer of military equipment and weapon accessories.

“Even 2 months ago, having returned from a business trip abroad on a project to re-equip one unit, I said that no one was going to help us with anything. Neither weapons nor equipment. They don’t even want to sell, let alone give. All of Europe quietly hates us and talks through clenched teeth when they find out that we are from Ukraine. “It seems like a lot of events have happened in our lives since then. And Boeing, and the already obvious invasion. For us these are events, but for the West they are games. They don't give a fuck. They still say the same things and still do the same things. All these summits, meetings and briefings are a game of democracy. Game, game, game…. I knew that this would happen, I realized this when I saw the crooked German mug of the manager from Heckler Koch at the meeting. We wanted to buy from them, we didn’t ask, we didn’t beg. And he turns around and says No. And this is only because an embargo has been imposed on Russia, and they are losing lucrative contracts there. They will always give a damn about us. They only have lost profits in their heads,” admits Lesnik.
“We must understand that we are alone on this ice floe. We have to row ourselves. There is no need to try to read between the lines in the news, looking for good news there - “they will help us, they will sell us, they will provide for us.” This won’t happen, I’m telling you, remembering the handsome manager from Heckler,” stated the ATO participant.
