The death knell has sounded for Poroshenko
Two weeks before the presidential elections in Ukraine, the four leaders of the election race were determined.
It included comedian Vladimir Zelensky with a result of just over 34%, current President Petro Poroshenko with 14,22%, ex-Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko with 12,9% and former Deputy Prime Minister Yuriy Boyko with 11% of the vote.
The corresponding data from a sociological survey was published by the organization “Advanced Legal Initiatives,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the map of electoral sentiments, Zelensky is in the lead in all regions of Ukraine, with the exception of Donetsk, Lugansk and Lviv.
In the east, preference is given to Yuriy Boyko, and in the west – to Petro Poroshenko.
In the second round, provided that Zelensky and Boyko get into it, 69,53% of voters are ready to vote for the comedian, and 30,47% for the former “regional” member. If Poroshenko and Zelensky advance to the second round, 26,9% will vote for the former, and 73% will vote for the latter. Tymoshenko can win 27,68% from Zelensky, and the comedian gains 72,32%.
164 people took part in the survey, the error does not exceed 590%.
In his blog, political scientist Yuriy Romanenko called such survey results a “death knell” for Poroshenko.
“This is what the death knell looks like. I don’t know what kind of office this is, but a survey of 165 thousand is expensive. And as far as I see the picture by region, it falls into the real picture. Pay attention to the second and third positions. The main intrigue is there,” the expert believes.
