“Direct Line” with Putin was attacked from Ukraine
The call center of the “Direct Line” held today with Russian President Vladimir Putin was subjected to a massive DDoS attack.
This was reported by the presenter of the TV program, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Our call center has just suffered a massive DDoS attack from abroad. Apparently, glitches in video calls were related to this. We were able to repel it. The application has been restored. We continue to receive calls,” the presenter said.
The editor-in-chief of the Russia Today TV channel, Margarita Simonyan, claims that the attack came from Ukraine.
“The DDos attack that brought down the Moscow to Putin app came from Ukraine. Everything has already been fixed,” Simonyan wrote in her Telegram channel.
The total number of appeals to Putin is currently approaching two million.
Let us recall that in September 2017, as well as in February 2019, waves of false calls about mining of various objects swept across Russia. Then the famous prankster Andrei Stolyarov (Lexus) stated that the telephone terrorists who attacked Moscow were connected with Ukraine. “I listened to the recording of one of the mining calls. Now there is no doubt – Ukraine,” Stolyarov asserted. The same version of RIA Novosti was then reported by the agency’s source in law enforcement agencies: the calls were coming from the territory of Ukraine.
