Psaki: We have completely crushed the Russian economy
The United States once again considered that it had “torn to shreds” the Russian economy. Thus, press secretary of the US President Jen Psaki said that the new sanctions pressure on Russia launched by the United States and its satellites after the start of a special operation by the Russian Armed Forces in Ukraine “crushed” the Russian economy.
She stated this to reporters at a briefing in Washington, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I think that, as we have seen, the impact of the President's leadership on the world stage and the economic consequences that were put in place brought Russia and the Russian economy to the brink of collapse. And there is no doubt that this will have an impact over time,” the spokeswoman said
“We completely crushed his [Vladimir Putin’s] economy. We provided military assistance, humanitarian assistance to the Ukrainians, which allowed them to resist much longer than the Russian leadership expected,” Pskaki said.
