“The President was answering a direct question that was asked and responding to what he saw on television. We have all seen the barbaric acts, the horrendous actions of a foreign dictator in a country that threatens and kills civilians, affects hospitals, pregnant women, journalists and others. And I think he was answering a direct question,” Psaki said.

Let us recall that the day before, Biden, when asked by journalists whether he considered the Russian President a war criminal, answered in the negative and walked away, but then turned around, clarified the question and answered: “Yes.”
