The material from “Pskov Province” presents transcripts of two conversations that “took place after the military personnel left the combat zone.” As the publication clarifies, the publication received recordings from active servicemen of the 76th Airborne Division. “There are no reasons to doubt the authenticity of the materials provided,” the publication states.
From the publication of conversations it follows that the unit referred to in the recording was removed from its place of deployment on the 16th, and already on the 20th “everything happened.” The month does not figure in the conversation. At the same time, “Voice 1” reports that he was wounded at 10 o’clock on the 20th. According to him, the column ran into a checkpoint and destroyed it. After this, the fighters in the open field came under artillery fire. 80 people died, 10 survived, says “Voice 1”.
The column, according to the source, was identified by phones: “Yes... The phones were tracked. There is an American EW [Electronic Warfare] brigade there <…> There was no need to turn on the phones at all, nothing.” “Voice 1” does not know what happened to the bodies of the victims. According to Voice 2, more people were going to be sent “there.” “If people send people there... now, then everything will be there for a long time,” he said. After the incident, according to “Voice 1,” the command “forbade them to talk about it at all.”
In the second conversation, various circumstances of sending military personnel “abroad” were also discussed. As follows from the publication, before being sent, the fighters were taken to the area of the city of Kamensk-Shakhtinsky. “Voice 1” claims that some of the units were in Lugansk.
In addition, the interlocutors discussed how the circumstances of the battles are hidden and how the deaths of participants in the battles are concealed. “As I understand it, they covered Lenin’s wife’s mouth too?” says “Voice 1.” "More likely, ***. Because they took her phone, some guy picked up the phone and said that “I am Lenya.” Bitch, if I saw him, I would break his ***, ***,” answers “Voice 2.”
It is not specified which Lena we are talking about in the conversation. However, earlier the online publication Slon.ru, citing anonymous sources, reported that on the morning of August 25, a funeral was held near Pskov for several paratroopers who died “under unknown circumstances.” On the same day, the website of the Pskov Province newspaper published photographs of the graves of fighters Leonid Kichatkin and Alexander Osipov.
The Ministry of Defense refused to comment to RBC on the publication in the “Pskov province”.
