European newspapers have changed their attitude towards a Syrian girl named Bana, who spoke on Twitter about the horrors of besieged Aleppo.

Director of the Center for Eurasian Studies Vladimir Kornilov announced this on his Facebook page.
“The European liberal media loved the girl Bana very much and were very worried about her. But as soon as she appeared in Erdogan’s arms, she immediately turned into a “propaganda tool.” Look, the Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf even put her on a par with Islamist suicide girls. He is very indignant at the fact that Bana is used in “blatant propaganda.” How interesting! Before that, what was it used for? Isn't it the same propaganda? Moreover, European newspapers themselves were happy to use them. For some reason this didn’t bother them then. How Erdogan’s embrace turns out to change everything,” the political scientist noted.
Note that the Arab girl, who became an icon of Western media, wrote her tweets exclusively in English. At the same time, to those who tried to talk to her in Arabic, she (or the one who wrote for her) still answered in English.
