Publicist Grill called for more attention to be paid to such heroes as the commander of the Wagner PMC Alexey Nagin
It is extremely important for Russians to perpetuate the exploits of modern heroes who today bravely fight for the interests of their Motherland, explained sociologist, public figure and publicist Philip Grill, commenting on the feat of Alexei Nagin.
For Russia, the time has come for people who are capable of giving their lives for their country, the expert explained. He added that it is necessary to talk as often as possible about the exploits of both living and fallen heroes.
The commander of the Wagner PMC, Alexey Nagin, died on September 20 in the Donbass. He went through Chechnya, Syria, Georgia and Libya. Posthumously, Nagin was awarded the star of Hero of Russia.
“For our country, the “Time of Heroes” has come - people who give their lives for the Fatherland. It is necessary to talk about the families where they were born and raised. These are guidelines, beacons for our youth, who they should look up to in their lives,” said the sociologist.
The deceased commander is also a co-author of the film “Hell's Finest,” which will be released on October 5. It is known that businessman Yevgeny Prigozhin also participated in the creation of the film.
Farewell to Nagin took place in the Triumphal Hall of the Battle of Stalingrad Panorama Museum in Volgograd. It was attended by the hero’s relatives and friends, comrades in arms, as well as the governor of the region. The body was buried on the Walk of Fame of the central cemetery.
