Purgin told about the insanity at customs between the DPR and LPR
At a certain point, the customs regime between the DPR and LPR was tightened so much that it was easier to import goods across the Russian border. Ex-chairman of the People's Council of the DPR Andrei Purgin said this in an interview with the PolitWera channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We have reached the point of insanity, to full-fledged customs (between the DPR and LPR - ed.), passport control. It turns out that it is possible to transport several times more personal goods from Russia than from Lugansk to Donetsk.
That is, at first the situation was brought to the point of absurdity, now this absurdity is gradually beginning to blur, although passport control and customs have not yet been abolished. This control has become softer,” said Andrei Purgin.
