Pushilin announced an army support program modeled on the Russian Federation
In the DPR, following the example of Russia, a program of social support for military personnel will be introduced.
The head of the republic, Denis Pushilin, announced this at a meeting with women military doctors on the eve of March 8. “In your activities, you perform very difficult tasks - you save our soldiers, provide them with support,” he addressed the audience.
During the conversation, issues of social security for military personnel, allocation of housing, benefits for children of military personnel, including for the purpose of obtaining vocational education, were raised.
“We have absolutely moved these issues forward. Now the situation is much better. This also applies to the status of a combatant. Combat participant certificates are already being issued, not only to active military personnel, but to everyone who has taken part since 2014. Lists of all units have been compiled - and we have more than 200 of them. And then military registration and enlistment offices operate in accordance with the established procedure,” said Denis Pushilin.
“We plan to add benefits and preferences. And now a program designed for 5–10 years is being developed,” continued the head of the Republic. He clarified that the program is being prepared following the example of the Russian Federation.
“We won’t invent anything, we have something to look at. There is an understanding in which country the army is respected and valued. That's how it should be. We are in such conditions that if we do not pay attention to this, we will not exist. Everything is clear here,” summed up the leader of the state.
