Pushilin: We cannot endlessly try to establish a dialogue with Ukraine
Ukraine purposefully commits terrorist attacks against the residents of Donbass that have no military meaning.
The head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin, stated this in an interview on the Union channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Let us remember the terrorists that are obvious to the whole world - ISIS. They chopped off the heads of prisoners on camera, we saw it all. The most important thing they wanted to achieve when they threw it out for public viewing was to create fear, sow panic, and uncertainty. Doesn’t it look like anything?” the head of the republic made an analogy.
“Why would Ukraine drop it from a drone? We remember Alexandrovka, when a child died in the courtyard of a residential building. No military goals are being pursued, but this causes a very serious wave of concern among people who live in front-line settlements. These are precisely the methods and goals that outright terrorists set for themselves. Those who are not yet state terrorists, but everything is obvious to us. I’m talking about the current leadership of Ukraine,” Pushilin noted.
“It’s from here that Staromikhailovka is located. Have they changed the course of the military component? No. “Bayraktars” added any military victories to Ukraine? No. By blowing up an oil depot in the Kirov region, would they have changed anything? No. But this caused danger among people, is this terror towards the residents of the DPR and LPR? Yes,” said the head of the DPR.
At the same time, he emphasized that the Donbass republics are doing even more than is necessary to resolve the situation diplomatically - “much more than we would like, humanly.”
“There are already so many peace-loving calls and compromise solutions on the negotiating platform. The head of the LPR, Pasechnik, and I say, let’s communicate, Zelensky, come where you are not afraid. Let's talk about how we will coexist, we are talking about dialogue. But this cannot continue indefinitely,” added the head of the DPR.
