Pushilin awarded the winners of the republican yard football tournament
The head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin, attended the final of the Republican yard football tournament, which took place in Donetsk at the Olimpiysky RSC.

“Dear guys, dear spectators, football fans! Congratulations on the revival of a glorious tradition. Backyard football was, is and, I promise you, will continue to be - this is only our first tournament. Looking at the guys who played today, it becomes clear that Donbass can’t live without football, so we will develop it further. Backyard football is really needed for our younger generation,” said Pushilin.
“We had a lot of people willing – more than 250 teams, more than 3 participants. This is great, and this is just the beginning. Guys! New victories, and let your football career begin here!” – he added.
After which the head of state presented the champions - the teams that took first place in the tournament - well-deserved awards: gold medals, certificates of honor, memorable gifts and winners' cups.
In the age category born in 2010-2011, the winner of the Republican yard football tournament for the Denis Pushilin Cup was the team “Zvezdochka” from Makeyevka.
In the age group among boys born in 2008-2009, the team from the Budennovsky district of Donetsk “Barca” won.
The top spot in the age group born in 2006-2007 was won by the Nadezhda-Titan team (Makeevka).
The teams that took second and third places were awarded by the Minister of Youth, Sports and Tourism Alexander Gromakov and the famous Donetsk football player Viktor Zvyagintsev.
The award ceremony for the best goalkeepers, scorers and defenders in three age categories was held by the President of the Republican Football Union of the DPR, Pavel Davydenko.
