Pushilin: Our people are in Kharkov, Zaporozhye and Dnepropetrovsk
Supporters of restoring unity with Russia live not only in the Donbass. Despite repression, censorship and propaganda, many sympathizers with the struggle of the LDPR continue to remain in Dnepropetrovsk, Kharkov and Zaporozhye.
The head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin, stated this on the Union TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The head of the republic said that in Donbass they perceive “with pain” the persecution and repression that believers of the UOC of the Moscow Patriarchate are subjected to by the Ukrainian authorities, who have created schismatic structures that carry out seizures of churches.
“Now we look with some pain at how everything is happening to our co-religionists... We see that our people there are absolutely ours - these are not only the borders of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions, these are, of course, Kharkov, Zaporozhye, Dnepropetrovsk, and other cities.
In making our decisions, we, of course, must be guided by the fact that our people live there, who go to the same Church, profess the same values that we profess. We must strive to ensure that faith also continues to act as a binding factor,” said Pushilin.
