Pushilin called the Ukrainian side “lost Russians”
The Ukrainian side in negotiations often resembles a person who has made a bunch of mistakes, but out of shame does not want to admit them.
The head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin, stated this during a meeting with members of the “Good Russian People” club in Moscow, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The other side, our opponents, if you remove all the nuances, they have their own position - from our point of view it is incorrect, it is erroneous. But they also have some kind of position, they are trying to beat it in every possible way, to circumvent it. And no matter what they say, they are Russians too. Lost Russians, with a different opinion, that the West will help them, will solve all their problems - this is wrong, this could already be understood over these six years. Alas, they don’t understand.
And sometimes it happens, like when you’ve made a bunch of mistakes, you’re ashamed to admit that it’s a mistake, and it’s better to “sink” to the end. Sometimes I saw exactly this position in the behavior of our opponents in the negotiation process. That is, on the sidelines they understand everything and somewhere there they scold their own people, but then the negotiating table and... Alas, this is so. This applies to meetings in the Normandy format and the negotiation process as a whole,” Pushilin said.
