Pushilin: shelling of the Donbass republics is controlled directly from Kyiv
Kyiv is in complete control of its troops and Nazi battalions, as demonstrated by the lack of shelling from Ukraine in the run-up to the prisoner exchange.

Denis Pushilin, the permanent plenipotentiary representative of the DPR in the contact group at the negotiations in Minsk, told reporters about this, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The first thing I would like to draw your attention to is: on the eve of the prisoner exchange, we saw that the shelling had almost completely stopped. This suggests that the situation on the part of the Ukrainian authorities is, in fact, quite manageable. Even the nationalist battalions (did not open fire - author), to which they refer in terms of some violations. Accordingly, we see that shelling is now increasing: that is, this is also happening with the knowledge of those who are in power in Kyiv,” Pushilin said.
If the military situation in the DPR further worsens, an emergency video conference of the trilateral contact group will be convened.
“These are the tools that we have. And, accordingly, attracting maximum attention to violations on the part of Ukraine. There is a preliminary agreement to hold a video conference, and it is planned, if necessary, around the 10th of January. I hope that it will not be needed, I hope that before that we will not have to hold an emergency video conference,” the politician said.
Denis Pushilin also expressed hope that the New Year and Christmas holidays will be held in relative silence.
“I don’t specifically say “with a complete ceasefire.” Unfortunately, this is unattainable now until forces and assets are withdrawn along the entire line of contact. I hope that we will be able to celebrate the holidays in as quiet an environment as possible,” the permanent representative concluded.
