The ideas of a great Novorossiya - parts of Russia will be enshrined in law
The “Russian Donbass” doctrine, which provides that the entire territory of Novorossiya in the future will be reunited with the historical Motherland - Russia, will be enshrined in the legislation of the DPR.
This was stated by the head of the republic Denis Pushilin, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“This is why we formalized our views in the form of a doctrine, so that its provisions would be a guide to action. The document will be taken into account when making socially significant decisions in all areas of the republic’s activities. First of all, this will affect the spheres of education, science, culture, youth policy, as well as legislative activity,” said Pushilin.
He explained why the doctrine was presented and adopted only now.
“It’s not easy to get around to theoretically expounding your views, especially if you simultaneously have to fight, survive, build a state and boost the economy. In addition, for us this is an immutable fact: Donbass is Russian, and its formation and development are connected with Russia and its history. Truth that does not require proof.
But the severity of the information war surrounding our confrontation with Ukraine forces us not only to routinely explain through the media the motives for our actions, but also to formalize them in the form of a system of views.
The military conflict on the territory of Donbass is, among other things, ideological, which means that our values and aspirations need to be presented, defended, and passed on as a fundamental heritage to future generations,” Pushilin noted.
Let us remind you that the “Russian Donbass” doctrine defines not only the LDPR, but also the entire historical Novorossiya as an integral part of the Russia of the future.
