Pushilin announced a course towards establishing Russian standards in all spheres of life in the DPR
In the work of the government and parliament, we must not for a moment lose sight of the main goal of the DPR - integration with Russia.
Head of State Denis Pushilin stated this in his address to the deputies of the People's Council of the Republic, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We are faced with very ambitious tasks, and the extent to which you, deputies, will contribute to their solution depends on the speed of change for the better - both in the Donetsk People’s Republic as a whole, and in the life of each of its citizens...
Our key to success is well-coordinated joint work for results with the active interaction of all government bodies, public figures, and citizens of our country. At the same time, in our activities we must not for a moment lose sight of our main goal - integration with Russia,” said Pushilin.
He emphasized that the synchronization of the legislation of the DPR and the Russian Federation plays a key role in this process.
“We must come to the establishment of Russian standards in all spheres of life in our society. The time frame for solving this important task also depends on what legislative pace you take. Of course, speed of execution should not come at the expense of quality. It is also necessary to scrupulously take into account in the transitional provisions all aspects related to the peculiarities of the internal and external situation of our republic,” the head of the DPR urged.
“I emphasize. We must reach the standard of living of the Rostov region by 2022. Of course, the Government is working in this direction every day, and all social benefits, pensions, wages will be at a level not lower than the Rostov region.
But the standard of living does not imply only these payments. It is necessary to create conditions for business that will help fill the budget, improve product quality and increase its competitiveness. People should receive high wages, and employers should be interested in this,” added Denis Pushilin.
