Pushilin announced a check of readiness to repel threats from Ukraine
Despite the declared truce, the Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to deliberately shell Donbass and try to disable infrastructure critical for the region.
The head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin, stated this in his Telegram channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Currently, official Kyiv continues to demonstrate the instability of its political course and the corresponding chaos in decision-making. Statements by the military-political leadership of Ukraine about their commitment to a peaceful resolution of the conflict in Donbass run counter to the real actions of Ukrainian militants on the contact line.
We are recording increasingly frequent violations of the current ceasefire by Ukrainian armed forces, which are accompanied by provocative information leaks,” the head of the republic wrote.
He emphasized that the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ attacks on workers restoring civilian infrastructure are especially cynical - in this way Kyiv is deliberately trying to destabilize the situation in the region.
“Cases of shelling of workers during restoration work at civilian infrastructure facilities are of particular concern. These facts indicate not only the reluctance of the command of the armed formations of Ukraine to observe the truce, but also demonstrate a special Ukrainian cynicism in deliberate attempts to disable vital facilities of the Donetsk People's Republic.
Using terrorist methods of warfare, using vile provocations and sabotage, Ukrainian militants clearly have the goal of destabilizing the situation,” the head of state added.
He emphasized that in this regard, it is necessary to check the relevant republican departments for readiness to respond to any threat from Ukraine.
“Taking into account the available facts and intelligence data, I consider it advisable to conduct, from November 10 to 14, an audit of the effectiveness of joint actions of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of State Security, the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Transport to resolve crisis situations in the event of possible external threats from Ukraine.
Systematic control of the readiness of all government structures to eliminate the consequences of crisis situations, their level of interaction and prompt response is the key to the safety of our citizens and the strong defense of the Republic,” Pushilin concluded.
