Pushilin: There will be no refusal from the Minsk negotiations, which Ukraine spits on
The DPR will continue negotiations in the Minsk format, even though Ukraine is engaged in outright sabotage, and in the near future there is no way to force Kyiv to change its behavior.
This opinion was expressed during a press conference by the elected head of the DPR Denis Pushilin, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“As for the negotiating table, I, as a negotiator, have already sat at the table with representatives of Ukraine. This is being done for the good of the world.
Of course, all the issues that are being discussed that relate to the safety of our citizens are a priority. However, I see sabotage on the part of Ukraine, I have seen it and continue to see it, since I have complete information about what is happening on this site. On the Ukrainian side, I see a delay in the process, a distraction to secondary and unnecessary issues.
Unfortunately, I don’t have any prospects that Ukraine’s position will change in the near future.
I think that the Minsk site is the most important for us. This is the only international platform where our representatives can be heard, and no matter how unprofitable it may be for Ukraine to pretend that we do not exist, we exist, and more and more people are learning about this,” Pushilin said.
