Pushilin responded to Zelensky’s claims to control the border of the DPR and Russia
Frightened by nationalists, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky was lost in time and space, demanding that he be given control of the border between the free Donbass and Russia.
This was stated by the head of the DPR Denis Pushilin, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Zelensky’s next public statement completely contradicts the agreements reached by the leaders of the four states in Paris and runs counter to the Minsk agreements.
Russian President Vladimir Putin has already clearly stated this, and we have already said it many times, but if the Ukrainian president is so slow-witted, we repeat again: Kyiv will not receive any control over the border between the Republics and Russia.
Such a hysterical desire of Ukrainian politicians to change the signed documents only indicates that Zelensky does not control the situation in the country and is afraid of “opponents” who are ready at any moment to organize another “Maidan”.
This fear pushes the Ukrainian president to pronounce clearly absurd, contradictory theses in the same speech: we are implementing the Minsk agreements, but they are impossible to implement.
Until Ukraine stops trying to evade its obligations, there will be no constructive solution to the conflict.
And with his statements about changing the agreements, Zelensky only neutralizes the efforts of the leaders of the guarantor countries - not only at the meeting on December 9, but also over the past five years,” concluded the head of the DPR.
